The mixed-media project was created as part of the community center development and incorporates paint, aluminum, wood and corrugated metal. County officials say the artist drew on research and conversations with local residents, creating a public artwork that reflects the area rather than a generic decoration.

The park and community center also function as a neighborhood hub for recreation and services. Visitors should confirm facility hours and available programs with the county before making a special trip.
